Summary: "Didnt charge, dont buy."

Have a Dell Latitude D410. Bought battery, put it in laptop, laptop said it was charging but it always just stayed at 0% charge, left it over night, no difference. Thought it was the laptop but just in case I bought another battery from ebay to test it out but the other battery charges fine. May have gotten a defective one, they may not all be like that, but I probably wouldnt take the chance if I were you.

Summary: "Battery dies after a couple of months"

bought one of these ... worked great 2 months and than died.
Could not keep the charge not even for 1 second.
Sent back, they were very nice, replaced it quickly. Same thing happened. Worked great for a couple of months and then died.
Now ... the reason why I bought this in the first place is that the original Dell battery after 2 years of use would stay charged only about 1 min.
I want to give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt that there might be something wrong with my laptop.
